Ferrari Receipt (Dirty) transforms an everyday proof of purchase into an oversized sculptural statement.
Created by German artist Louis Michel Krüger, the work depicts a fictional €429,300 receipt for a Ferrari 488 Pista Spider. Its distorted aluminium form, folds and deliberately distressed surface recreate the character of a receipt that has been carried, folded and forgotten.
By enlarging something temporary and disposable to 97 × 62 cm, Krüger creates a striking contrast between everyday consumption and extreme luxury.
