Baci di Dama by Italian artist Guido Borelli is an intimate oil painting centred around the movement and colour of koi carp.
Painted in 2020, the work combines deep aquatic tones with vivid flashes of orange, white and red. At just 20 × 25 cm, its compact scale gives the painting an almost jewel-like presence.
The original canvas is hand-signed by the artist and will be professionally stretched and presented in a black floating frame, selected by MAUHK to give the work a contemporary architectural finish.
