The Atelier
MAUHK is an independent Dutch label where clothing is approached as wearable art. Each piece is developed as part of our ongoing gallery, with attention to composition, material and placement.

A Study of Color After Use.

Color Study 506 explores what happens when something precise and controlled is allowed to become imperfect. A clean color reference is folded, handled and distorted, turning a functional object into an artwork of its own.

The original digital artwork is presented across the back alongside its title, a short gallery note and its catalogue reference: Study No. 001 · 2026. Rather than treating the garment as a surface for a graphic, every element is composed as a piece presented within the MAUHK Gallery.

The front remains deliberately quiet, finished only with subtle MAUHK · Wearable Art branding. The contrast leaves the back to carry the work.

Printed on a heavyweight 300 GSM cotton longsleeve with an oversized silhouette, giving the artwork the space and structure it was designed for.
